My Failed Attempt At A Jelly Sandwich Mani

It’s been way too long since I’ve done any nail art & recently just had the itch back to do it. I actually started off as a nail blogger but soon expanded to beauty & makeup. Anyway, I’d never really tried a jelly sandwich (or pond mani) and thought I would cleverly give it a try after not doing nail art in god knows how long.

I wasn’t going to post this but hey, we all have fails so why not share it! I’m sure there will be many more to come.

I used BarryM Cherry Drop for this wonderful piece of art! This is a scented jelly polish and perfect for these sort of mani’s. I’m sorry I killed it everyone, I promise you it’s a gorgeous polish!

For anybody wondering what a jelly sandwich is, I’ll try my best to explain. You need to layer a sheer jelly polish and in between layers (or coats) you paint (or stamp) whatever pattern you desire. I chose to freehand hearts and due to my lack of practise looks like my son did it. This honestly took me around an hour and made me wish I’d never bothered haha. But at least I tried!

To get myself back into the swing of things I’d like to post nail art once a week, is that something you guys would be interested in?

Thanks so much for reading!
