June Favourites

I know, it’s early but you guys know how excited I get for Monthly Favourites! It’s yet again flown by so quick, it’s actually scary. I can’t believe we’re half way till Christmas! C’mon i can’t be the only one that’s already getting excited?!

Anyway, just a little life update. I want to apologise for not posting much or replying to comments recently. If any of you read my Mirena Coil – My Terrible Experience post, you’ll know i had a worry about cervical cancer. Well, since having the coil removed I’ve had another boat load of new aches and pains which led me to worry even more. I’ve been in the doctors and hospitals for tests etc, I’ve just had my smear results back which it wasn’t the news i was hoping for. I’m back at the hospital in a few days for further tests so it’s been a tad stressful. I do have brand posts that need posting so i will be getting those done but as for my own content that will have to take a back seat for a week or so. I hope you guys understand. Also, no matter what age make sure you keep up with your smears and keep an eye out for any symptoms. I’m only 24 and it’s my first smear, you can never be too careful. Anyway, enough misery, lets get stuck in!

This MUA Luxe Velvet Lip Lacquer in Vivid has completely stolen my heart this month. I’m usually a red or a nude lip sorta girl but i can’t get enough of this shade. It’s completely out of my comfort zone but i feel so confident wearing it. For £3 i couldn’t recommend at least trying this shade enough.

They’ve featured quite a lot on blog and i still can’t recommend them enough. Whether it’s the placebo effect or not, these really have helped keep me calm and sleep a little better with everything that’s been going off. My 4 year old has also been using them and I’ve definitely notice his sleep improve.

This is a new purchase this month and one I’m incredibly happy with. The Makeup Revolution Ultra Brow Arch & Shape. This is definitely a dupe for Soap & Glory’s Archery which is £10 and this is only £3.50. I actually prefer this product than to the Soap & Glory one. This has saved me so much time on my brows and makes them look so much more natural than using just powder. I shape with the crayon and fill in with the tint. I do use powder still but only on the ends to darken them up a little.

This is the Rosie For Autograph cream shadow stick in Feline Fox. I kid you not, i have used this every day since i bought it. I’ve practically worn this every single day since I’ve purchased it. To me it’s a little on the pricey side for £12.50 but definitely worth it.

Screenshot_2016-06-21-21-43-25-02This has just appeared in my most recent blog post Favourite Products For A Flawless Base For Makeup and i just can’t get enough. I can’t describe the glow it gives you, it’s perfection in a bottle! It’s pricey at £55 but I’m seriously considering purchasing this (i kindly got sent this by the brand) after I’ve ran out i love it that much.

Screenshot_2016-06-26-21-00-17-01Last up is L’oreal True Match Powder. Face powder isn’t something that normally excites me but I really have been loving this to set my makeup. I use a damp beauty sponge to apply it and it doesn’t crease or dry my skin out and keeps my skin looking matte nearly all day (i do have dry skin so keep that in mind). It’s not transparent so will add a little coverage but it is only light.

Thanks so much for reading guys, let me know any amazing products you’ve come across this month!

      1. They either didn’t get enough cells, lost my results and one time the tube with the cells in smashed. It’s a good job I kept going back cos it would have put a lot of people off. Aaw I’m sure it’s fine. Just make sure to go for all your tests and appointments hun xx
