I know this is pretty early for favourites but I can’t help myself, I love writing these posts so much! I have to say it was pretty tough again choosing this months products that were my favourites. I might do a Products I’m Currently Loving or something to show the products that didn’t quite make the cut into favourites.
The first I don’t think surprise to anyone that keeps up with my blog. The Revlon Ultra HD Matte LipColor in Passion. This is just the most stunning red, a deep blue toned cheery red. Even though the formula isn’t really matte, it’s not a shiny finish and that’s good enough for me! Can anyone recommend a red(preferably blue toned, not orange) liquid lipstick that stays put and doesn’t smudge? Something that’s quite in budget, I’d love to get Jeffree Stars Redrum but shipping, availability and costs seem a bit much just for one liquid lipstick. Thanks guys.
Sorry about my nails guys, this is an old swatch photo! But anyway, this gorgeous pale grey polish is Lunar Grey from the Hyper Gel range by Models Own. This is absolutely stunning and perfect for Summer. The swatch is 2 coats, no topcoat.
Sticking with nail polish, here is an absolute stunner from BarryM, Copper Mine. This and the formula is incredible and makes such a statement on the nails. I think the metals will be my go to polishes for a while. 2 coats, no topcoat.
Next is this infinity ring from Hannah’s Jewellery. It hasn’t left my finger since receiving it, I honestly love it. With it being handmade too, it makes it so much more special.
Now is another one I think people could have predicted, the BarryM Strobe Cream in Frosty Pink. I’ve used this beauty everyday too, it gives such a gorgeous, natural glow to the face. They’ve got it spot on with this highlight.
This is a product I’ve owned for a while but have recently been reaching for it non stop. I’m pretty sure this has been in a favourites before. This is the Rimmel Scandaleyes Eyeshadow stick in Bluffing. This stunner blends so incredibly easy on the lids but doesn’t budge after that. It’s water proof and lasts all day but so easy to remove! It’s a stunning shade for the summer too, not too light and not too dark. Perfection. And this little gem only cost me £1, if I can find it again I’m getting back ups!
The very last product is the Makeup Revolution Salvation Velvet Lacquer in Rebel. Although the formula isn’t amazing the colour more than makes up for it. It’s absolutely stunning. It’s just so perfect for a bold lip without it being crazy bold. And it’s suitable for all year round, highly recommend trying this or their matching lip liner. The shade is stunning.
Thanks so much for reading guys, hope you’ve all had a lovely May!
