Skincare to me is most important before makeup. You have to have a good base to get the best finish out of your makeup. So I’ve really been focusing on my skin recently, trying to drink more water and making sure I’m keeping up with my skincare routine. These products have helped my skin so much. Even though at the minute my skin is relatively clear It’s still very dry and I have this annoying patch on the top of my cheekbone that has little red bumps and foundation won’t even apply on top. If I use these products, they really help that annoying little patch look and feel normal.
My first product is my favourite out the bunch and I will definitely be repurchasing. This is the Nip+Fab Bee Sting Fix Lifting Face Mask. I’ve been using this near enough every night, I apply this before I go to sleep and wash it off in the morning. Using this makes so much difference to my makeup, it makes my foundation look like skin. I found this in TkMaxx for around a fiver but I’d happily pay full price.
Next up is a product from Jurlique. This is their Intense Recovery Mask and it’s incredible. I’ve been using this once a week and paired with the Nip+Fab mask, they’re a match made in heaven. My skin instantly looks better after using this and feels so amazing that my makeup just glides on the next day.
Another Jurlique product next, the Rosewater Balancing Mist. This featured in my favourites in a few months back I think and I’m still obsessing over it. This is perfect before makeup, whilst you’re wearing makeup and after makeup. It doesn’t disturb your makeup at all, if anything adding a little glow. A handy way to keep my skin hydrated without going overboard on the moisutiser.
Next up is a pricey little number from Ioma Paris, their new Vitality Shot. You mix this in with your moisturiser (the amount depending on the look you want to achieve) and this gives you the most incredible glow. Even with a medium to full coverage foundation on top your skin looks radiant. The price for this though? £55. I know expensive. It’s sooo worth the money though!
Last product is from Embryolisse. This is their Radiant Eye stick. This is designed to brighten your eyes and give them plenty of hydration. When applying this it feels like water, it’s so cooling and instantly soaks in. Usually It’s already dried when I go to pat it in. My concealer sits so much better when wearing this product and it really does help brighten the eyes.
Have you tried any of these before? Thanks so much for reading!
