It wasn’t that long ago, I wrote another review for Nair, which was their new wax strips and I wasn’t overly impressed. This time I love the product!
This is their new range, Nourish, which contains natural Argan Oil, Jojoba Oil and Cocoa Butter to leave your skin hydrated and smooth. I was sent the Shower Power cream and the Bikini Brush on.
There still is a few pros and cons of the products but overall I really did like them. Lets start with the Shower Power Cream. This comes with a 200ml bottle and a spatula to scrape all the hairs away. This cream allows you to shower whilst wearing it cutting down a little bit of waiting time. You do still have to wait 1-2 minutes after application before entering the shower but that’s no biggie really. You can leave this on between 5 to 10 minutes so gives you a decent time to have a wash and wash your hair etc before removal. This works brilliantly, the only downfall is that when you do get it wet, the water takes away some of cream at the bottom of the legs which then doesn’t remove them. It does say try to avoid excessive exposure to water whilst in there but for me shower water is unpredictable!
This does work on short hair and I only left it on for 5 minutes and it worked brilliantly. It does claim to have up to 7 days smooth legs but for me it was around 2. I mean, my hair does grow insanely quick, I shave at night and end up with stubble by morning, so i guess for any normal person you’re looking at around 3/4 days until stubble arises. It did leave my skin feeling incredibly smooth that I literally couldn’t stop stroking my own legs haha.
Now onto the Bikini Brush on. I really love the applicator for this, the brush means you’re able to keep the product where you want it without touching any delicate areas. This is not designed for shower use, it’s just like normal hair removal cream, leave for minimum 5 minutes and max 10. This didn’t seem to work on me for short hair. I left it for 10 minutes and even tried using the spatula that came with the Shower Power but it just wouldn’t work. It does however work on longer hair perfectly, there wasn’t any irritation or anything like that. Again, it states that it could last up to 7 day and that wasn’t the case for me. It did leave my ski feeling amazing again though, so it’s still a thumbs up from me!
Thanks so much for reading!
