I got this idea from Velvetgh0st (gabby) on YouTube to do a first impressions along with a haul. After all I’m the sort of person that as soon as I get new makeup I have to use it. So why not do a first impressions too?
My lovely Fiancé treated me to a couple of bits I’d been after for a while and this is what I got!
The first thing I actually needed was the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer. Every single person in the beauty and blogging community has heard of this product so I’m not going to ramble. I’ll just appreciate this tube whilst it still looks pretty before the writing rubs off.
Whilst I was looking at Collection, I came across their Lasting Colour Gel Eyeliner. This was on offer for just £2.99 so I thought it was cheap enough to give a go. I’ve never heard anything about this gel eyeliner I usually stick to my maybelline one but this is exactly the same but over half the price. I haven’t had a problem with the application, no smudging or transferring. I think I’m going to buy a couple more of these to stock up.
I’m wearing the eyeliner here and it’s amazing!
It’s not a trip to Superdrug with getting something from Makeup Revolution. I decided to pick up their Pro Lipstick in You’re A Star. It’s a little lighter on the picture than in real life but it’s a stunning nude pink with gold flecks (they don’t really show up on the lips. So happy to add this to my collection.
Another lip product next, the Maybelline Color Drama Intense Velvet Lip Pencil in Keep It Classy. I’m absolutely in love with this already!
The formula is incredible. It dries down to a gorgeous velvet finish and barley moves once on. The colour is stunning (a little more purple than here), doesn’t settle in lines and the pencil smells lovely! So pleased with this and I definitely want to try more shades.
Next is another addition to my Color Tattoo by Maybelline. This one is Creme De Rose and I love it! I was trying to look for a alternative to the Mac Paint Pots and I think this is perfect. I haven’t tried them but this seem to do exactly the same, it doesn’t budge/crease and is the same colour as my skin tone. I’ll definitely be repurchasing.
Last up is the Maybelline Lash Sensational. Everyone has raved about this and I’ve finally caved in. I’ve got too many mascaras open to justify buying this but I couldn’t resist it any longer! I have to say, I do really love this mascara. But I didn’t think it lived upto the hype.
I don’t think it’s done anything over spectacular to my lashes, I’ll probably stick to my Essence mascara after I’ve done with this but I’m so happy I tried it.
Thanks so much for reading! Have you tried any of these products? What do you think? ❤
