After doing my High End Products Not Worth The Splurge I thought I would do one where they are!
I’m a drugstore girl at heart and even if I won the lottery I’d still be in Superdrug or Boots rather than Mac or Debenhams. But there are some products that are definitely worth the splurge, one of these wouldn’t really class as high end but it’s expensive non the less.
First off is favourite of mine, Candylipz. This retails for around £55 and I love it! This is the perfect product to give you the Kylie Jenner pout but safely. Does come with with a bit of bruising in the first 10 days but with regular use your pout will last upto 4 hours. Definitely worth the cash for me.
The Clinique Chubby Contour Stick has been a regular part of my makeup routine since I purchased it, I love it! Although there is a cheaper Dupe out there (the Freedom Makeup Contour and Highlight stick), I still reach for the Clinique one over the Dupe. The product blends perfectly, the colour is amazing for Contour and even though it’s chubby it’s very easy to use.
This product I’ve been using for years and makes life so much easier. The bareMinerals quick change brush cleaner. I know there are definitely cheaper alternatives to this, I think this costs around £10 but I started using this when I very first got into makeup and can’t bear to change! And it does the job perfectly.
And last is the Illamasqua blush bronzer duo in Beg/Bronzella. I think this cost around £22 and I love it! Beg is the perfect colour for Autumn/Winter and has definitely has some use from me. The Bronzella is a stunning shade but I don’t use it as bronzer. I use this usually as an eyeshadow as I only like my bronzers matte and this is a little too dark. But the pigmentation on these are incredible!
