Korean Makeup Goodies

Recently I’ve seen a lot of people saying how good Korean beauty products are, luckily the guys at Bit And Bobs Of Beauty sent me some goodies to try out. And I’ll definitely be back for more!

So far I’ve loved everything I’ve tried. I haven’t got round to trying everything, one product in particular scares me, but I’ll definitely do a separate blog post for that one, read below for more details!

The very first product that caught my eye was this Holika Holika Pure Mellow Jelly Blusher. This feels incredble to swatch, it really does feel like jelly! Now, the colour is a little lighter and more purple in real life than to what my picture is showing, the shade sadly doesn’t really suit me. But, I can’t take away the formula and pigmentation as they’re spot on.

Next is the Pure Source Cell Sheet Mask with Green Tea. Now sheet masks aren’t a favourite of mine but I really enjoyed how this made my skin feel. My skin literally soaked this up and was well overdue for a hydrating mask. I loved it!

One of my next favourites is Tony Moly Petite Bunny Gloss Bar. First off, how cute?! I’m a sucked for cute packaging. The formula for this is amazing, it’s nicely pigmented and not too glossy either. It’s perfect for a pop of colour and in this weather is perfect for keeping the lips moisturised.

Another favourite is TheFaceShop Soft Cream Blusher in 02 Coral. I wasn’t expecting this to suit me as it’s sort of a beige coral and coral doesn’t suit me the best of times, never mind when it’s such a unique colour. But, it adds a lovely glow to the cheek! Such a lovely glowing finish, I’m over the moon with it!

Recently I’ve been loving my gel patches. I think they work wonders and are fun to play with after. So I couldn’t wait to use Tony Moly Red Cheeks Girl Patch. Not only are they soothing and hydrating (which I really needed), they’re so much fun to wear! I really enjoyed wearing these and I need to get my hands on more!

Another cute product is this Tony Moly Banana Lip Balm. I’ve not stopped using this! It smells like banana and keeps the lip so moisturised! I also find having the product in cute packaging makes me want to use it more, so it’s helped keep up with applying lip balm regularly. I love this!

Another cute product! These are the Tony Moly Panda’s Dream Eye Makeup Remover Pads. These smell lovely and remove makeup so easy! I have sensitive eyes and they caused no reaction or watering so they get a bit thumbs up from me!

Now last up is the product I’m terrified of using! The Tony Moly Tattoo Lip in Red. You apply this before bed and leave it on overnight. Now I’ve swatched this and after leaving it on the back of my hand it stains and won’t come off all day, even with makeup remover. It’s so insanely pigmented that I’m genuinely terrified of how I’ll look when I wake up in the morning. I’m not the sort of person who just lays on their back and goes to sleep, I fidget non stop and face plant my pillow. I think this product is worth a blog post alone, so in a week or so I’ll try this out, would you guys like to see it? Before and after shots too? Let me know!

That’s the end of my goodies sent from Bits And Bobs Of Beauty,  they have a crazy amount of products on their site so you definitely need to go and have a look, you’ll find something you love!

Thanks for reading! ❤

  1. I love korean products and the Tony Moly Tattoo Lip sounds intriguing. Please do tell how it turns out.
You should try some more korean skincare products. They are amazeballz, especially the serums and sleeping masks.
Also, sheet masks are my one true love (did you hear about the snake venom, bee venom and pig jelly ones?).

    1. I will I think it’ll be up sometimes next week! 🙂 and I’d really like to actually, I’m really into my Skincare at the minute. And I haven’t no! I’m guessing they’re not cruelty free though?

      1. Some of them are cruelty free. It’s mostly a grey area, as the products they sell in Korea are cruelty free because Korea bans animal testing, but they also sell in China and ofc that subsidiary is not cruelty free.

      2. Yeah… it’s the old story… products are cruelty free but company-mother is not or something along those lines.
So, if you buy them, check for korean based sellers (I usually buy mine from ebay from rubyruby or rinishop) 🙂
