So guys, if you haven’t already heard of Freedom Makeup where have you been? They’re a company that sort of branched from Makeup Revolution, so you know the quality is going to be good. I was sent a few items by them to review, so here you go!
Let’s start off with their Pro Strobe Cream palette. I love this so so so so much. Not only the palette but the brush that comes with it
When I first used this with the brush, before using the product on my face I didn’t think it was pigmented. Until I applied it. I was blown away! The shades are light, dark and medium. But for me I think it’s cool, warm and neutral. The highlighting shades are gorgeous too! And for £10, you get a palette and a brush, it’s a barga
Next up some new shades for their Pro Melts Lip gloss line. The red is called Steal The Show and pink is Kisses waiting. Now the formula for these are incredible. They are crazily pigmented! Not at all sticky and very long lasting. Unfortunately I’m just not a huge fan of the one of the colours I was sent. The pink is just incredibly light and not flattering on me, but that being said, it’s still an amazing form
ula. They’re just £3.50 each!
This is probably my favourite product I was sent. Their Pro Contour Shaped Stick in medium. This rivals the Clinique Chubby Stick Sculpting Contour. The Clinique is a little tiny bit on the cooler side but the freedom one blends out so much more easily. I have used this everyday since I got it! I’m quite pale and medium worked just fine on me (I just use a little less than usual and blend it out). The highlight is still lighter than my skin, but does give more of a subtle highlight, that’s where I could’ve used the lighter one. But none the less, this product is incredible at just £5 is incredible. I’ll not be repurchasing the Clinique Chubby S
Their highlighter is up next! This is in the shade Diffused. Now, if you’re looking for a highlight that’s going to blind your boyfriend, this isn’t for you. This gives a gorgeous natural sheen, it’s not subtle by any means, just a lovely natural highlight. I’m not a massive highlighter fan so this suits me perfectly. And you get 7.5g of product for just £3.
Last up is their Pro Studio Priming Water. This can be used under or over makeup. I’ve been using this after my moisturiser and it gives a nice sticky (not bad sticky) base. It definitely helps makeup stick. But I do prefer this over the top of makeup. As I have dry skin, I shouldn’t really powder the hell out of my face but I do. I don’t like the look of a dewy foundation, I always panic that I just look greasy. So I powder everywhere. A spritz of this just makes you have a really natural, healthy dewy look and doesn’t make my face look so flat. This spray is £6 for 100ml.
And that’s it! I hope you guys like this post, make sure to check them out, Freedom have just recently launched in Superdrug, so hopefully they’ll be local to you to check them out! I’m definitely trying out more of their stuff, at the prices you can’t go wrong.
