Affordable Makeup Brushes!

For perfect makeup application, you need the perfect tools to apply it with. To me makeup is pretty much useless without a good set of brushes. Nobody wants to fork out £100+ for a set, so I’m always on the look out for affordable brushes that do a good job! And that’s where QVS Beauty brushes come in!

These are all available for under a tenner! So let’s crack on with the individual brushes.

First up my favourite, Flat Top Blusher Brush. This is avaliable from Asda for £5.89. This is made from soft synthetic hairs and feels so sturdy and compact, it’s an absolute dream to work with. I’ve used this with mineral foundation and gave a lovely finish! This is also suitable for Powder and cream products.

Now my second favourite. (I love this and the flat top blusher brush equally actually!) The Angled Blusher Brush. This is made from 100% Natural Bristles and cruelty free. This brush is suitable for powder and perfect for blush, contour and highlighting. It blends perfectly. This one is avaliable from Tesco for £6.99, a bargain.

Now, I’m not normalyl a fan of flat foundation brushes but I happen to like this one! Unlike some I’ve tried, it doesn’t leave brush marks after applying foundation. I think this will also be good for highlighting and it’s also suitable to apply primer and masks with! The bristles in this are Nylon and avaliable from Asda, Lloyds Pharmacy and Amazon for £5.89!

Now up is the last of the brushes, the Bronzer Brush. This was my least favourite. It smelt funny in the packaging and didn’t fade after washing (probably will after a few though). And it also sheds. When using and when being cleaned. But negatives aside, it does apply bronzer lovely. The bristles (which are natural and cruelty free), are so soft and light it applies like a dream. It also does a good job of blending contour, highlight and blush altogether. This is available from Asda, Tesco, Lloyds Pharmacy and Amazon for £6.98.

Here’s a little extra, the pro nail shaper. If you’ve been following me for a while, you’ll know I started off as a Nail Blogger (hence the name allthingslacquer) so I’m always on the look out for a good file. And this one is perfect! It has a fine side (#400grit) and a medium side (#320 grit). The medium side is ideal for shaping and the fine side to smooth the nails edge. Gives a lovely clean file, is water resistant so can be used wet of dry! This is Avaliable from Tesco and Lloyds Pharmacy for £3.49.

Make sure to have a look at QVS Beauty, they have a lot more to offer as well as these brushes for such great prices. And they’re not hard to get a hold of! They’re easily avaliable locally (in the uk), definitely a good affordable brand ❤
