Makeup Haul ❤

I’ve been on a bit of a shopping spree lately, something I don’t usually do. I’m a makeup lovely but I’m a mum first, so usually the little lad gets spoiled! Anyway, I ventured into superdrug &  wilko and had a few things in mind I wanted to get.

First I went to the makeup brushes to find the Real Techniques miracle complexion sponge. I’ve been after one of these for a while but with having quite a few foundation brushes anyway, it was never the top of my priorities.

Next up L’Oréal True March Foundation. I’ve had this before and was by far my favourite foundation. They also had an offer of 2 for £12 on certain items so I picked up the Nude CC Cream. I’ve swatched this and it does seem a little dark for my skin, but I’ll make it work.

Now the MUA Cosmetics Pro Base palette has been on my to get list since forever. Last time I went to get this it was sold out so didn’t hesitate grabbing it this time!

Now contouring is probably my favourite thing to do makeup wise. I just can’t get enough! So I picked up the Makeup Revolution palette. Really excited to use this, I just wish cream options were more avaliable at drug stores. I couldn’t find any cream contour or highlight products!

The last thing I picked up from superdrug was the Vitamin E Gentle Oatmeal Exfoliator. I’m really into my skincare at the moment and really trying my best to take care of it, so I wanted to try out a new face wash.

At wilko I originally went in there to buy fake tan, then realised I’d just purchased a new foundation and didn’t want it going to waste. So I just headed to the makeup and skincare Isle to have a wonder. Came across the L’Oréal Micellar Water. I’ve wanted to try this for a while now, so I’m excited to finally get my hands on it!

Last up is the Wilko eyeliner brush. I purchased this as I think it would be a good eyebrow brush. I have quite a few brushes but they are a little too big for adding individual hairs (I prefer the natural look than the drawn on) so I was in desperate need for one. This looks like the perfect size and was only £1!

This is non beauty related! I’ve been after one of these books for a while now, but didn’t want to order off Amazon (I’m too impatient to wait for a delivery!) I came across this in a newsagents for just £2.99 and snatched it up. I’ve had a lot of stress on recently, so I’m hoping this will help 🙂

Thanks for reading again guys! ❤

  1. Great post, I love the look of the contour pallet! I think powder is so much easier to use when it comes to contouring. Have you tried the Sleek brand? They’ve a great palette with fab bronzer, blush and highlighter. In my opinion it’s definitely one of the best!
Great blog by the way would love if you checked out mine

  2. Great haul – I really like the Superdrug Vitamin E scrub so will be great to hear your thoughts on it. I also love colouring and have colouring book envy! I haven’t seen that book before, looks like it has some great pictures to colour – enjoy 😊 xx

  3. Great post! The RT complexion sponge will make you never want to use brushes again. I apply foundation to my face with a standard foundation brush as if you apply with sponge it soaks up quite a lot of product, then blend with the sponge and it’s amazing. Love your blog, would be amazing if you could check mine out too xxx https://bronzerandbooks.wordpress.com
