Spring Make Up Essentials

So with spring here and the weather getting warmer, it’s time to change things up a bit! I prefer a more natural, dewy look in spring, so these are my spring Make up essentials!

To keep foundation looking good and lasting longer in the warmer weather, a good primer will do the job. I’ve been using The Body Shop Insta Blur. I adore this! It’s not too drying on my skin and helps give a flawless Base. My only complaint about this is if you apply it to the back of your hand before applying to the face,it falls off. It doesn’t stick very well till you blend into your face. But it’s amazing once on the face.

To keep the shine at bay and help the make up last longer, a powder is always an essential. Pressed or loose is a personal preference, I prefer loose because it gives a nicer finish and feel to the skin. My choice is NYX HD Photogenic Finishing Powder. Cheap enough and does the job! I’ve already done a review on this product so I’m not going to ramble.

Nothing I love more than a good highlight, I think it pulls the look together so much! This highlight I literally use all year round, it gives the perfect finish! It’s The Body Shop Shimmer Waves in Coral. All the colours are pink/orange toned and give such a gorgeous shimmer! Highly recommend.

I love a cream blush for spring. Cream blushes give such a lovely glow to the skin. My favourite is Illamsqua in Rude. A natural orange toned pink, gives the cheek a subtle flush. And a little goes a long way with this product, definitely worth the money.

Last up is Benefit Posie Tint. A pink lip stain that’s just a subtle bit of colour that lasts all day. No need to worry about reapplying and doesn’t even feel like you’ve got a thing on the lips! Last thing I want in hot weather is feeling like my face is caked in a ton of make up. I hate it!

And that’s it! Hope this has helped in some way or even was just interesting for all of you to read haha.
Thanks for reading guys, hope you enjoyed it ❤
